Once again, I agree with you Sandi!!!
It is also not abuse for horses to be solely in a pasture. It is great if there is a leanto but a shaded tree does the job as well. Horses enjoy the rain & in fact given the opportunity will go outside their stall during rainstorms, icestorms, snowstorms, etc. Infact, we make sure our horse is turned OUT during tornado warnings--a barn can be a leathel weapon...
