Subject: Getting the Word Out

I have been in business for about 2.5 years and still have not figured out the best way to advertise. I do excellent work, but I have had only a few word-of-mouth referrals, few referrals from vets. I work pt at a Hallmark store, and I have my bus. cards at several of the Hall. stores that my boss owns. This last method has brought in the most clients. I was also featured in a major paper here when I first started my business. Has anyone had any luck with vets, door knockers (been there, done that), or any other reliable methods of "getting the word out." Any suggestions would be appreciated. Lynn B.
