I have one line...a business line...I also have caller ID... so I know if it's a friend or family member calling before I answer....and if it's a number I don't recognize, I just answer it in my "business voice". Same for after business hours....if I KNOW it's a client, or if it's a name I don't recognize....I usually let it go to voice mail.....my "business hours" are posted on the VM message.

Works for me!

PS....Oh yeah....my son is NEVER allowed to answer the phone.....unless caller ID says it's for him!
