I do offer overnight visits at a rate of $120 for the night... middays additional. Yes, a lot of people gasp at that but I figure it is 10 hours of care even if I am slepping and my normal rate is $30 per hour so they are getting a cut at $12 per hour. Any emergencies and the "what if's" are what they are paying for too.
It seems to weed out the not so great clients. I also wonder why so many sitters under rate themselves by offering it for only $45 dollars. My guess it that any client would rather have you stay overnight for $45 then to pay for 3 visits at $45 and have their pets alone.
What do you offer and how much do you charge?
