Lisa, boy could I relate to your story. I am 45 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but I do know it will have to be working with animals. I am obsessed with them (2 shelties, 2 cats) (had 2 cats that died last December). I too could not deal with vet teching because I would cry all day. I was an x-ray tech, but am now doing medical transcription at home, so I thought pet sitting would work great with this. I am not yet a pet sitter but am in the process (dealing with paper work right now). I love learning from all you experienced sitters, and hope you will keep sharing your great ideas.
