Hi Laurie.....thanks for the condolences on my Gram..... we are pretty relieved that she is out of pain now.

I wonder if we know some of the same people from JC? Were you in the vet tech program there? I was working for a vet back then, and there were several of the students working there that were attending JC.

As for networking.....my best advice is for any pet sitter interested to hold a small informal local get together. Just call up the sitters in the area, and see what the interest is....then have everyone get together for a few hours for lunch. That's how we started out in 1995....and now we get 20-30 attendees about 3-4 times per year. I personally get 40% of my business from my "competition".....we love it. And it's nice when you need backup too! Or even just to vent!
