Hi Kit;
My business is made up primarily of live-in stays. I have clients that are as close as 12 miles and as far as 25-30 miles away. As well as my regular charges for staying in their homes and caring for thier houses and pets. I also have a flat rate for travel allowance. I like staying in others houses; it's like a mini-vacation for me and the area that I usually sit in is in an affluent area and the houses are very nice. I also run a cleaning business during the day so it's difficult right now for me to do daily visits. I would suggest that you explore your options. You may want to do one long distance client and see how that goes. Perhaps in the future as your business grows you may want to brach out your services and extend your service area. Good Luck.
