I'm just starting out in business and was wondering how you deal with evacuation types of problems where you might not get acess to an area to pick up pets. One of the sample contract forms I got outlined having the client leave a key with a neighbor in case of the odd occasion when we might not be able to get to a pet and the sitter's ability to get the in touch with that neighbor to assist. My county business home based business license also does not allow me to keep pets in my home and although I'm sure in an emergency none of my neighbors would care I was planning on having clients provide me with information on where they want their pets taken within reason. I'm hoping that someone has dealt with these type of situations and can advise. It would be much appreciated.
