I try to limit my long distance jobs, to those that are once a day. (dogs that have access to a fenced yard, or indoor, litter trained or caged critters ) That makes it a whole lot more bearable. I'm also real fussy about the far away ones - I have to really like the people, the animals, the home, and the drive to get there. And although I do charge extra, the people that want me - WANT me - period. They're happy and willing to pay ! I find that sometimes it's nice to get a longer ride to a place, rather than the usual stop and start ....... Give it a try !
