Just because deer season ends does not mean that you have to go fishing or start doing honeydo's. Here are a few that will keep you busy for a while.

Homemade game camera
www.jesseshuntingpage.com (they work better than the commercial ones and are alot cheaper)

Also on Jesses forum there are plans for a pennco feeder that you can make for just about nothing.

For turkey season try making yourself a homemade slate call.

You can use a pvc pipe coupling, a piece of slate or ceramic stone. For a striker use a hardwood dowl rod and a corn cob for the weight.

If your on a lease or private property start doing your trail clearing while it is still cool and also try fertilizing some of your acorn tree around the drip line to help them produce a better crop this coming season also spray the bryars, grapes, and berry bushes to help them produce more.
