Hmm, maybe i'm missing something but i don't see anything so awful in what she is saying. Her movie deals with a lot of very difficult subject matter: rape, murder, war. I don't think it's that unusual for her to explain it that she wants people to be upset by it to spark change. Makes perfect sense to me. Would be a lot more weird if she said that she wants people to watch it and have a calm, happy reaction, no?

I do think she's a little too self-righteous and important for her own good and bought into her own hype a little too much, don't get me wrong. I totally agree with you on that account, buddy. But this particular piece of press doesn't make me especially upset or angry, it's not at all shocking coming from Jolie.....
