How could she have saved your brother in law's life though, just out of curiosity? I thought he died suddenly, i assumed of an illness...was it something else?
Dont worry, the good will prevail, if she really is that much of an unfit mother for the child, the court will not let her take the girl. I just worry about you, because you've raised 2 kids already, raising an 18 month old is the last thing you need right now. I'd rather see you in that hotel in Italy with your hubby getting a well deserved rest. But i can tell how special your brother in law was to you and that you would do anything for him, that is so very honorable. That's exactly the kind of woman i know you are and i'm in awe of you, bravo. He was lucky to have you throughout his life and he is for sure looking down on you with pride at how you are handling yourself with this situation. I may not be a religious person but i totally believe in spirituality and in our loved ones that passed watching over us.
