So bizarre to me. I wonder if they really realize how completely silly they look. I mean come on, 6 kids later, to make such a big deal out of an "engagement?" More so with no date. Brad is pushing 50 and he needs to be engaged? Baffles me why they want to look like such fools needing attention from the tabloid media. They are the ones who are going to have a hey day with this and follow them and their children to the ends of the earth trying to capture the big day. They say they are "masters" at handling the media. Seriously, it doesn't appear so at all.It certainly secures them a spot in the public eye now until it happens. I just never thought Brad enjoyed being in that position involving his private life. If this was a union of two hearts, none of this would be needed or allowed. It speaks such volumes about these two and what their relationship means to them. I feel sad for Brad because of it. I had always hoped more for him. The only good thing about it is, it keeps my mind off of "real life" drama.
