I am sure Jane Pitt loves Brad and only wanted him to be happy. I am sure she has taken her share of critisism for the manner that he did and that and the woman he picked to share his life with. I know I was sick after Brad hooked up with Jolie because of all the things I leanred about her past behaviors. People have a past for a reason and I never did believe that she had some great awakening and did a 180 trying to make people believe it was all an act. There was too much. Then add her father speaking out about her mental illness and there you have it.I think he did that out of great concern for his daughter as well. The manner that she cut him out of her life proved she was a wack job who wasn't going to be questioned about anything she did.

I have dealt with the same kinda thing in my family and I really believe the bottomline is, we do want our children to be happy no matter the path they choose. It doesn't mean we have to agree with it.We try to love them for all the choices they make, good and bad.It brings me back to my brother in law dying and the choice he made in his wife. Now that he is gone people say to me, "I never liked her." Yeah well I am not saying I ever really did, I tried to accept her because it was what he wanted.Would I of chose her for him, "Hell no!!" But it wasn't my life.Sometimes we do what what we have to do to keep that person close, to hold onto to them through the good and bad choices they make. Even if their path is questionable.I guess in the end that is how Jane Pitt felt about Brad.

If I was his mother I would be more hurt and offended by his denoucing God. That is where I would draw the line but still, I have a brother who does the same thing and I will love him completely and hold onto him until the day he dies.I understand that he feels the way he does because he feels like his church and his faith has rejected him and his lifestyle. So sometimes unless you are living it, it is difficult to understand but i do applaud her for speaking out on this issue. Abortion to me is first and foremost. The same sex marriage thing doesn't belong on the same page with taking an innocent life. I don't agree with same sex marriage either and it is my right to defend the sacriment of marriage. If they want a union of sorts, let them find a new name for it but I believe marriage is meant to be between and man and woman. As must as that opinion upsets my brother, it is what comes from the depth of my heart and my soul. Certainly my saying it doesn't have near the impact of Jane Pitt saying it so good for her for speaking for those of us who agree 100% with her.
