Jolie says she is a good and selfless mother

She said: "For me, being a mother has enriched my world so much more than I could ever have imagined.

"It's hard to say that I needed to be able to care for children to become happy in my life, but I think there's a lot of truth to that.

"My mother was very devoted to my brother and me. Having experienced that level of love makes you understand how much your children will appreciate you."

Angelina also believes the key to being a good parent is to always put your children first.

She added to OK! magazine: "I think being a good mother involves a decision to be selfless - often there's no choice. You put your children first and then everything follows from that."

Baffles me that she could ever be so "out of touch" to say such a thing. The way those children chase her life around it appears they come third or fouth on her list of priorities.Some of the comments here are right on.

Too bad her huge ego really believes that. It's too bad for the children. Oh and, just because she believes it doesn't mean those children will as they get older. My bet is there will be plenty of resentment there that they weren't allowed to have their own life and friendships. It is so very important for children to learn important life lessons at a young age.Jolie's problem is she didn't have a good role model even though her mother brainwashed them into thinking she was just that. She trashed their father to them and acted like a 2 cent whore in front of them. Oh yes, her mother looks like an amazing role model. *eyeroll* Nevermind allowing her 14 year old daughter to have a live in boyfriend. Now that is a good role model for Jolie. *smirk*

Hard to believe she would ever call herself a selfless mother. Baffles the crap out of me what she is thinking to ever say such a thing. Oh and selling those children off to the media to improve her image. She must really believe the public is stupid not to see right through her. What an idiot!!
