Yes Louis kills her in IWTV. His need to feed is overwhelming when she is trying to comfort him and asking him to send his new friend away because all the slaves are afraid of him. then she asks, "Are you still our master or not?" and he falls under a spell from his dark gift and says he is "Afraid of himself." and that is when he bites her. She screams and they show him trying to get her to stop but never show how he actually kills her until he carries her lifeless body out the house and hands her over to the other slaves that hear her screams and come running ro help her. Lestat doesn't come into that scene until he has burned the house down and he comes in to save Louis.Love that part of the movie so I remember it well.

I think they buy a star on the Hollywood walk of fame so I honestly don't think it is a huge honor for anyone. It is something they have to pay for as I understand it.
