I mean, i wouldnt say i walked away from that film not feeling anything. It is a beautifully shot film and it does deal with a lot of human emotions. I just yearned for a more cohesive plot. When i say it had too much salt, i feel like it was one of those movies where the moviemaker was so caught up in trying to create a "masterpiece" that in the process he lost sight of other things too. A lot of very ordinary scenes were extremely drawn out for no good reason, he could've used that time to tell the story a little better. But as i said, performances were great. And i totally agree about that actress, Jessica Chastain, she is luminous. She actually looks and sounds a lot like one of the girls that works with me, except the girl i work with is a blonde, but she has the same delicate way about her. She was great. And i marveled at the fact that she is my age (30) and playing Brad's wife. I remember when i started being a fan of Brad's, i was a teenager and he was in his early 30s and it felt like there was such a crazy age gap there but i knew eventually, he will get to an age where women my age can easily play his wife and here we are :) That day is finally here hehe I mean, when you think about it, Jolie is only 5 years older than me, so it really shouldnt surprise me :)

I know, it's been 14 years since the Devil's Own came out, can you believe it. It definitely does feel like eons ago. I always had a soft spot for Brad in that movie, he was just so scrumptuous there hehe

I did see Eat, Pray, Love, i didnt think it was boring. Made me want to travel even more than i already do. And they really romanticized Italy, that's for sure! We are planning to honeymoon there next year and i simply can't wait!

Myst
