So Myst, did you see Brad at the furniture opening??? You never said another word about it. Details please!!

I am watching the Decendants right now. George is good in it but I think the older daughter deserved an Oscar for her part. She is really believable in the part and i can imagine that is exactly as my daughter Rachel would act if I had an affair. I don't know her name but she was so good in her part.

I didn't get the part where he was running to see his wife's friend after finding out about the affair. He looked so silly in that running scene and the part where he falls to his knees, I wasn't convinced it was a man grieving the loss of his wife on so many different levels.

Sid was hilarious. I loved when he says, "How many old people just walk up and cold cock ya." So funny!!

Two very different movies but for sure, if they are on, I am likely to tune in. I still have never seen the very first part of the Decendants.I always come in where the doctor is telling George's character there is no hope.Do they show anything of the mom when she is alive? It would of been interesting for them to show some of the relationship with George's character and her daughters. They didn't seem to have any relationship with their dad until the mother was out of the picture. And I still have no idea what the deal was with the surfer dude at the club in the beginning of the movie. I am taking it that he was driving the boat when she was hurt. Did they show the accident?

For the life of me i couldn't figure out why Brian Speers messed around with his wife if it could mess up his big realistate deal. What an asss, he deserved to lose the deal. I was glad George didn't sign the deal. And his wife's best girlfriend was such a bitch. How dare she talk to him like that about their marriage. I didn't like her from the very first scene.I thought the way she spoke to him was so rude. And then Brian Speers wife going to the hospital, there were so many things about it I felt so inappropriate Involving the daughter in the confrontation of the other man, keeping his wife busy. I didn't like any of that. The daughter insisted i know, but i would of insisted she stay out of it.Like I said, a good movie, makes me want to discuss it after it was over. Must of been a chick flick because my hubby could of cared less to discuss it.lol

So Mystie, did you think Brad should of won the Oscar for Billy bean or George for Decendants?I really though brad was good as Billy bean. My favorite line in that one is when he is telling the catcher that playing first base isn't that hard and the black scout says, "It's incredibly difficult." Cracks me up everytime.
