George uses his moment to compliment Brad in his efforts. Brad never mentioned George's award in his most recent humantarian work. Why is that I wonder?? George always seems so gracious to Brad.

LOS ANGELES, Calif.
Five years after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and ravaged much of the Gulf Coast, Brad Pitt and his Make It Right organization are helping to rebuild homes and lives – something his longtime friend and frequent co-star George Clooney applauds.

“He’s been truly focused on that,” George told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush backstage at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night – also the five-year anniversary of when the hurricane made landfall in Louisiana. “He’s done a great job.”

The actor, who was presented with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award during Sunday night’s show, said Brad has been diligent about trying to bring in support for the cause.

“He’s hit us all up on building houses there,” George continued. “I haven’t seen anybody work as hard as he’s done on that.”

The 49-year-old actor explained that’s Brad’s passions extend beyond the big screen and his big brood.

“He knows about architecture too and it’s something that’s a real passion of his,” George added.
