The Oscar-winning actress has stepped behind the camera for the first time to make her directorial debut with the currently-untitled film, whichis set in the Eastern European state. However, confusion over the plot has led to the Bosnian government revoking the actress' production permit. There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature ofthe relationship between the main characters and that will be revealed once the film is releasedCampaign groups in the country expressed their anger over rumours the film will tell the story of a Bosnian woman who falls in love in with her Serbian rapist in the middle of the Bosnian war. Comment on this Article The producers behind Jolie's movie have insisted the reports are wrong and have handed over a copy of the script in a bid to have their permit reinstated. The actress has now spoken out about the furore, refusing to reveal details of the plot but insisting the "sensitive" storyline will be handled appropriately. She says, "(They should) hold judgment until they have seen the film. Obviously any dramatic interpretation will always fail those who have had a real experience. This is not a documentary. "There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature ofthe relationship between the main characters and that will be revealed once the film is released". --------------------------------------------------------- Oh yes, and everyone is just going to trust her judgement on the matter that it will be handled appropriately. *eyeroll* Because her track record is go wonderful in the appropriate manner she handles everything in her life. *smirk* I am being extremely sarcastic if you couldn't tell. I would give this movie the time of day no matter the romantic back drop she is going to add to it. There is nothing romantic about a woman being aped. It is an act of violence no matter how "appropriately" Jolie approaches the "sensitive" subject line. I wouldn't trust her with that duty ever. This is all working ut as she had hod, she is getting chatter about her movie. It is a shame that Brad fed into that by going to the set and putting on quite the display. There are pictures from the making of this movie nearly daily, and I must add, looks like Jolie is doing alot of standing around. I ain't impressed in the least and I don't have to reserve my "judgement" until after seeing the movie because no way I plan on seeing this movie. Her point of view is null and void to me, especially on the topic at hand.She has lifetimes to go before she would ever get that honor of trusting her with anything appropriate.
