Beach blanket bingo...with Brangelina!
Back in the states after months in Venice, Italy, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie kicked off the holiday weekend Saturday at a pal's private beach party in Malibu, Calif. Joining the couple for the shindig were two eldest sons Maddox, 8, and Pax, 6. (Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 22 months, stayed behind. (Too bad for the other kids, they didn't get to enjoy the beach.)
Quaffing a margarita, Pitt, 46, chatted with pals on the beachside deck, with Jolie, 34, drinking white wine beside him. (I never drank when my children were with me, they were always MY responsiblity as their mom. I always knew no one else would watch over my children as I did. Not surprising Jolie was drinking, she has nannies to look over the children, she looks over the nannies to make sure they are doing their job. *eyeroll* Makes me scratch my head, why bother having them if they are someone elses responsiblity?)
"Brad was very affectionate," a witness tells UsMagazine.com. "He put his arm on Angie's wrist and was always rubbing her back or resting his hand on her shoulder." (Awww, Brad is so "in love" )
Maddox and Pax, meanwhile, hit the surf on boogie boards. "Brad and Angelina were watching and pointing with big smiles on their faces," the observer says. "At one point, Pax was packing sand between his hands to make a ball and then throwing it as far as he could." The two buddies "liked trying to outdo one another." (haha, just like their parents.)
And while their famous parents watched their fun from afar, the celeb kids "seemed independent and did their own thing without ever having to check in with their parents." (I bet they had the nannies close by.)
"Brad and Angelina seemed very trusting of their boys [and] wrapped up with each other," the witness adds. "They were having a good time relaxing and enjoying the great weather."

It is so hilarious to me they have to make a news item of this. Always a world to convince of the love they have for one another.
Umm of course they are into one another, they better be, they have 6 children together. It does make me chuckle they have to go to such great lengths to make sure it gets media coverage.US mag no less. Not surprising in the least.
Hopefully Brangelina knows everyone wants them to make it for the sake of those children. They seem so insecure about their image when it comes to their love and bond between one another.
US mag with the scoop no less. The pictures I saw looked like they were right on top of them like someone let them in to take pictures. I wonder how much US is giving to their favorite charity to get the right to exploit the children while they play on the beach. Oh of course, the purpose of the coverage was to promote their parents love and commitment to one another. *eyeroll*
