Angelina Jolie: "I Was Never Teased" as a Kid

Was Angelina Jolie a magnet for schoolyard bullies?
No way.
"I was actually quite a cool kid," the actress tells Parade magazine. "I was never teased. I never had any trouble from anybody."
Me: It had nothing to do with you being cool Angelina, it was more about you being a psycho bitch.
But Jolie, despite her oft-mentioned fondness for tattoos, knives and daredevil stunts, clarifies that she wasn't all that hard as a kid. "I was not tough. I was certainly independent and bold... But I was never satisfied. I had trouble sleeping. I didn't really fit. I always feel that I'm searching for something deeper, something more, more."
Me: Yeah a kid that carries knifes would be considered tough in a psycho kinda way. *duh*
As the daughter of Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, Jolie, now 35, grew up around Hollywood types, but never became self-destructive. "Part of the sadness in this business is that there are a lot of people in it looking for approval and love," she says. "I'm lucky because I was raised with so much love that I can take a lot of knocks and not take anything personally."
Me: *smirk* And she means that literally with her live in boyfriend at 12 years old. *eyeroll* What a great example she is for her own children. NOT! Lets hope she doesn't share stories of her childhood with her children with all that "love" she was feeling. Lets not forget her mom was a 60's flowerchild. *snicker* I bet the love flowed freely in her house with all the live in boyfriends her mom had.
She nods to stars who weren't so lucky: "There are many people we've seen lost in this business because other people haven't stopped to make sure they're OK, you know? People are aware when others are breaking, but in this town they don't tend to stop and help them. In the end, it costs a life."
Me: She should use caution, her children could fall prey of the exact thing she is blaming on all those who didn't stop to take notice or see if they are ok. Perhaps she should take a good hard look in the mirror before her children end up with the same fate. *stare*
Brad Pitt's longtime love also dishes on how she plans to give their kids a spiritual education. "Brad and I are raising our children to respect everyone," she says of Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4 and twins Vivienne and Knox, who turn 2 this Monday.
Me: Mind you everyone to these children are the nannies and the security people they are surrounded with. Anyone within their fishbowl. *eyeroll*
"We have a bookshelf in the house that has the Bible, the Torah, the Koran, everything. We will take our children to church, temple, Buddhist ceremonies, Mosques, teaching them about all faiths. Whatever religion they choose, the choice will be theirs."
Me: Oh this is just classic. First off I have to wonder which house she is talking about. Secondly, children need to be guided to spirituality to find that strength within their soul. They can't read it in a book without any guidience or direction from their parents, and without any interaction with society on a regular basis. Jolie is so clueless, every time she opens her mouth I feel so sad for those children.
