 TMZ has learned Brad Pitt was involved in a minor motorcycle accident moments ago in Los Angeles.

A witness at the scene tells us Pitt was trying to weave in between cars while at a red light -- but he lost control and fell off the bike.

We're told he got up and moved the motorcycle to the side of the road then ran into an apartment building.

Our witness says he waited for someone to come pick him up and now he's no longer at the scene. Pitt left his motorcycle behind.

UPDATE: Several people tell us, but we haven't confirmed, that a paparazzi hit Pitt from behind, which caused him to hit a car in front him, lose his balance and fall.

Out for a morning cruise, Brad Pitt was spotted taking his newest custom chopper for its first spin around Beverly Hills on Saturday (October 24).

The “Fight Club” stud sported a stylish gold helmet as he rode around town, stopping to chat with a few passerbys during the course of his travels.

Seriously, in my opinion these papparazzi people should get a life. Chasing someone elses life isn't living nor is it an excuse for a job. Is it even about the money for them anymore or the thrill of the chase? With the age of the internet the pictures can't be worth that much.

I hope Brad is ok and didn't getting hurt too badly but I can't help but say they didn't sorta ask for this by selling their childrens pictures for an enormous amount of money.Of course thise is the kind of people they are going to attract by doing so. Double edged sword and i think they choose the sharp side. It wouldn't be worth the risk far as I am concerned because there are children involved.

Like I said, I hope Brad is ok.
