 She is giving her farwell speech. It has honestly touched me enough that I have a tear. I remember when Oprah started, my sister lived in Chicago and Oprah was just a rising star. She had a simple sparkle that was getting rave reviews before her first show. I remember it so clearly, before she was a national sensation.

Her announcement was heartfelt and I so enjoy the manner that Oprah expresses herself. She is truly a woman who is in touch with exactly who she is. Bravo to her!

She is so smart too. She knows with that announcement, it will boost her ratings a great deal. My hat is off to her, I think she is truly a role model to young women everywhere.

Ya know, something even more interesting to me is that my hubby doesn't share my opinion about oprah. He doesn't think she is all that great.It confuses me how we can see something from completely opposite sides of the room. Must be that Mars and Venus thing.
