Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt has hit out at reports that partner Angelina Jolie is "manipulative", by insisting that the rumors are not true.

Pitt, 45, has been dating Jolie, 33, for the past four years and they have six young children together.

He said: "Anything you read which makes Angie out to be manipulative just isn't true. I not only love her, but also have the greatest respect for her. The decisions about our life are something we decide together."

Zena: "Ahh come on Brad, your not the King of your Castle? Be careful to show your weakness darlin." *chucklin*

The Burn After Reading star also shot down rumors about the couple having arguments, by claiming that he hates to waste time arguing.

Zena: It's only a waste of time if you don't make up.

Brad: "The thing I am more aware of now is the passing of time. I don't want to waste any of it, so we don't waste time arguing between us.

Zena: Aww come on now, if you don't argue, it means your not being completely honest. *eyebrow*

Brad: "I don't know whether I have one day, 10 days, 10 years or another 44 years, so I don't want to spend a moment on pettiness or bitterness.

Zena: Yeah I can see how that would be a problem with Jolie as your "girlfriend" an argument == pettiness and bitterness. She has proved that "first hand" with her father. *smirk* You honestly didn't believe I wouldn't take a shot, did you? *evil chuckle*

Brad: "I want to be in the company of those who I really love - it might be chaos, but it gives me joy."

Zena: Haha the chaos I prefer is erotic. Like standing in the light of the full moon naked and howling with all my will. Letting nature know that I am a force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah, love the way nature responds. For chaos to be truly effective, it has to stem from deep within ourselves..... "howlin"
