Will the couple’s former bodyguard’s secrets damage their plans to adopt again?
For a couple who normally love to chat on the red carpet, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were uncharacteristically tight-lipped when asked at the Golden Globes about their plans to adopt another child from Ethiopia. They swept past reporters and spent much of the night talking to each other rather than mingling with other guests.

The reason for their reticence is simple: they are devastated that Angelina’s former bodyguard and trusted confidant, Mickey Brett, is planning to reveal Angelina’s darkest secrets in an explosive book about his life with the star.
The rumour mill in LA is buzzing that Brett knows the truth about what happened with Brad and Angelina when they met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith – and Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. There are also claims he once walked in on the co-stars having sex and was also asked to buy kinky equipment for them from a London sex shop.
Brett, 52, started working for Angelina in 2000 and quickly became part of her closest circle.
He was with her through her divorce from actor Billy Bob Thornton, the adoption of her first child, Maddox, 7, and the beginning of her relationship with Brad Pitt. Angelina showered her minder with lavish gifts, including an Aston Martin and a $22,000 bonus. But he quit his job in 2007, reportedly because he and Brad did not get on.
Now Brett is busy working with ghostwriter Robin McGibbon on a book about his experiences.
Friends say Brad is more concerned than Angelina about the book, as he fears it will undermine his persistent denials that he was unfaithful to Jen with Angelina.
McGibbon told UK Grazia: “This is going to be a very revelatory book. I can imagine [Brad] doesn’t want the public knowing what went on behind closed doors.”
While Angelina was initially OK about the book, telling Brad she had always been very open with the public about her personal life, she is now more concerned the allegations could affect their chances of adopting another child…

If she is ok with it, she is "in" on it. *eyeroll* Maybe they both are, but surely if he quit because he didn't get along with Brad, there will be plenty of dirt about him in it. If that is the case, I would bet Jolie is in on it. Sounds to me like Mickey was a bit threatened by Brad. Maybe he liked being the one to call the shots.Sounds really screwed up to me, but, if he knows something that would prevent them from adopting more children, he should come out with it and spare another child getting caught up in their rat race. He should feel a responsiblity to speak out about it. Surely if there is "anything" to be concerned about, it jas more to do with her then Brad. Although, he seems mindless to follow her, so maybe he goes along with whatever she decides. That is a scarier thought yet. *yikes*
