Well, the TCCOBB is based on the short story of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald and was written in 1921. So probably the Italian author got inspired by Fitzgerald's story just like Eric Roth, the screenwriter of Brad's film. Maybe they had similar ideas.

They sue fast these days, the same thing also happens in the music industry very often. But in the majority of cases they sue in vain.
