Clooney reveals bust up with Brad

Brad and George 'not talking' The strongest friendship in Hollywood looks to be broken after George Clooney sensationally revealed he is no long talking to his best buddy Brad Pitt.

Silver fox Clooney has reportedly told friends he and Brad have had a heated hissy-fit over playing the role of Henry Higgins in a remake of My Fair Lady.

The former ER star reportedly told pals: 'We both badly want a particular role and neither is backing down. It's sort of become an intense competition between us now and it just keeps escalating.'

The pin-up boys' fall-out is so severe, Clooney, 47, says he will no longer talk to his Oceans 11, 12 and 13 side-kick.

'For now we're both so angry we're not even in contact any more', said Clooney.

The fall out was sparked amid claims Brad, 44, is stubbornly refusing to back away from the role because he has been fixated with the story since childhood.

The dad of six is also said to be vying for his girlfriend Angelina Jolie to play alongside him in the part of Eliza Doolittle.

The demise of the friendship brings downs the curtain on a string of red carpet and press conference showings for the duo after years of wowing female fans world over together.

Ugg, he wants Jolie to play the female part. Why ruin the movie before it is even made? I don't know if there is any truth to this feud but Brad really needs to pull his head out of his ass.Or better yet, I should say out of Jolie's ass. It is pathetic to see her drag him through the mud. She won't be happy until she allenates every person from his life, just like she did with her own father.
