A conversation at Female First. Had to post it because I completely agree!! BRAVO!! Honestly, well said!!

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with taking a pic of a mom breastfeeding. Its a natural thing. But its the context of this picture that, I think, most people find disturbing.

The lousy picture quality aside, this is not a tastefully done picture showing a mother breastfeeding her child, its missing the most important factor, THE CHILD. Where is the baby in that pic, showing a few fingers doesn't count! Isn't the whole point of taking a pic of someone breastfeeding to portray it as a mother/child moment?
That picture is just a picture of Jolie sitting half naked smiling at the camera. Nothing motherly about that at all.

Also, Jolie and Pitt have openly complained about not having any privacy and at the same time, they take a picture (or rather, a full set of pictures) of themselves and the children and release them to the media? If they want to do that, fine, but don't complain about not having any privacy when you willingly play the game.

a responce.

I agree that there is nothing motherly about this BF picture. I find this W cover disturbing for two reasons 1) YOU CAN NOT SEE THE BABY and 2) AJ IS LOOKING AT THE CAMERA INSTEAD OF HER BABY AND IS NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THE CHILD. This is supposed to be a MOTHER-CHILD MOMENT, but AJ has turned it into an opportunity to expose her breasts. This picture was not about capturing a warm moment between a mother and child, but about AJ need to feel "sexy". Notice that she always mentions "Brad finds me sexy" or " being a mother makes me feel sexy" in every interview for the movie she is promoting.

After this W photoshoot, they should never ever complain about not having privacy. If they really wanted a private life, they would put more time/energy into raising/nurturing those kids instead of trying to convince the public that they are a "happy family". They should be more concerned with providing a stable and private environment for those kids, instead of coming up with ways to make a profit off of them.

Bravo!!
