Strangest thing happened today. I got a magazine at the salon that I have never recieved before. OK Magazine. I was so surprised and more so when I read the cover. It made me laugh so hard, Brad and Angie are getting married? And within weeks they will adopt another child to exploit to the world. They are already shopping for the new addition to their family. (Shopping? Seriously, about sums it up for these two.)No price is ever too high to disrupt a childs life into their circus act.
It also said that marriage is nothing more then a piece of paper to the two of them. But then, it says Angie takes marriage very serious and that is why she hasn't agreed to marry Brad yet. Ummm say what?? She takes it serious?? What a laugh, what were those other two fly by night marriages she had? Doesn't seem she takes it serious at all. Also, it says neither of them are religious so it won't be a big, white gown, church event. Brad already did that once with JA, so obviously, he wouldn't do it again. But still, their children want to know why the big green monster is married and Jolie and their dad aren't.*chucklin* I think seriously, these two should paint themselves green and tie the knot as cartoon characters. If religion has nothing to do with it and they don't feel it is anything more than a piece of paper, they should do it up right and really entertain their children by turning the marriage into a cartoon for them.LOL
If Brad and Jolie don't believe in religion, surely their children won't either. Pathetic, just what the future of this world needs. More parents like Jolie and Pitt.*eyeroll* Imagine the dark place it will be if everyone raised their children the way these two do. And they are handing more over to them? So very pathetic to me when it comes to the well being of these innocent children. These two honestly believe that a large bankroll will make these children succeed in life. They won't need to believe in anything and they won't have to lift a finger to survive. I honestly feel so very sorry for all of them. They won't have any social skills to get along in the real world and they won't have any self worth. Needless to say, the more I read, the worse I felt, for those children. The egos of their parents say it all. I had to close the magazine and focus my thoughts on something else, like the election. Too bad, that didn't do much to help me. I settled with, what will be will be.
If these two are what parents of the future will become, this world is in bigger trouble then who we select to be Commander and Chief for the next four years. The visual is so clear to me. It leaves little hope, but, I do believe the couples who are from solid roots and a strong base have a chance to overcome it by keeping religion alive in their childrens lives. It is the flame that ignites the spirit, without that, it will be a world gone cold.
Someone said to me the other day how much Brad has changed since being with Jolie and I had to say, "Yeah, the light that used to be in his eyes is almost burnt out. That is when they should marry, when his eyes are as dead as hers. I do feel sorry for all of them. Someday their children will need something to believe in desperately and it will be too late to teach them. I see it so many times, people try to start when the child gets into their troublesome teen years. A lot too late to start then. Just doesn't work.
Oh well, that's life. I had to share, I got such a chuckle that this particular magazine found its way to me. Speaks to me on so many different levels. *eyebrow*
