I gotta say two things: 1) what is truly "UNCOOL" is the fact that Vogue chose to put that quote on the cover in big bold letters. There sits JA in a beautiful red dress and this is the quote they chose to put on the cover. Since when are they a tabloid, even saying something like "JA talks life, work, and Angelina" would've been better than that.
But what's truly UNCOOL in my book is the meak little comment itselg. I mean, honestly, if i were in her shoes and decided to finally comment on this, i would've chosen a few much stronger choice words than "uncool" and "inappropriate". I mean, Jolie was a woman that screamed to the world how she would never sleep with a married man, how she doesn't need Brad and then proceeded to unceremoniously do the exact opposite, and more so, GET AWAY WITH IT without as much scrutiny from even her own fans as she truly deserved (believe me, i try to like Jolie, i certainly think they are a better looking couple and a more star- wattage-y couple like i always wanted for Brad, i think she's a better actress than anyone he's ever been with (especially after seeing the Changeling last weekend), i appreciate their good deeds and i am glad he's happy with her, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I.DESPISE.INFIDELITY, in any form, and the more she openly talks about the fact that they got together while he was married, the more it gets me pissed off. You are so right, Gina, she has shoved that foot so far up her mouth, it's coming out of her ass now LOL) So, getting back to this article, in light of all that, all that JA says-is that it's "uncool" of her to talk about it? Are you kidding me?!? Come on, Jen, if you're going to say something, then you should've as heck hit it home a little better than that. This way, while it does make her seem like the classier of the two, it also makes her seem like a weakling, like "awww, it's so uncool that you stole my man and are talking up a storm about it now like it's no big deal". Like, awww, poor little Jen lamb. Come on, grow a backbone, no wonder there were tons of comments to that article saying "Get over it, Jen, why are you still talking about Brangelina at this point". It was a very weak counterattack, in my opinion so while i am definitely on her side, i can't in all honesty say "Go Jen for putting Jolie in her place" because, to me, this doesn't really have enough zing to it to put her in her place. I am a tad disappointed....Damn, if this was me and i got played by Jolie that way and decided to finally say something, you better believe that Jolie would be out there buying every single copy of Vogue in town trying to make sure that no one can read it :)))
I guess really hitting back at Jolie, would've probably no longer made her and Brad have the warm amicable relationship she says they do so i sort of get the point. Maybe i am just not as classy as she is and can't fully take the high road the way she can and still be so kind in respect to Brad and say how she admires him after what he did to her. I guess i have too much pride. Or maybe i just have a sharper tongue :P
