Gee, well look at how well-spoken Mary Louise Parker is, who knew? LOL While i agree with some of what she's saying, you know what i also think? If nobody did speak about Brad and AJ, they'd start to get pretty worried. I mean, of course at first they'd welcome it with open arms but in no time, they'd sort of wish to have it all back, i guarantee it. Because when no one discusses you, it means your career is as good as dead. I can't help but sense a twinge of bitterness in her quote, perhaps she wishes she had Brad and AJ's career and popularity? Sorry Mary Louise but it's pretty obvious few people are out there giving a flying rat's tail about what YOU'RE doing.
So you know what, just because we talk about a celebrity, doesn't mean we know them. Morals are a kind of thing that comes through loud and clear, when Brad does something morally outstanding (such as his work in New Orleans), we applaud him. Or are we not allowed to do that either? Oh wait, it only works when it's something NEGATIVE we say about his or AJ's morality that's a problem? Seriously any action or direct quote that a celebrity makes can give just as good of an indication of what they are like as being in a room with them. I mean, say i meet Brad and AJ and spend like, an hour talking to them, does that mean i suddenly know who they are? does SHE feel she suddenly knows who they are, just because she had a few brief encounters with Brad where they made polite chit chat about the weather or their kids or whatever? Give me a big fat break is all i have to say to that, sorry.
Thanks for sharing though, LBF, i get that what she's saying comes from a good place but you know what, there's still a lot of flaws in her logic. It's one thing with people that do feel like Brad is some sort of a close friend of theirs or a family member where they get carried away, but none of those type of people are here. Just because we comment on his behavior doesn't mean we know him, we just talk about what we see. And meeting him face to face for 5 minutes will NOT, contrary to what ML is saying here, suddenly give us (or her, for that matter) any better insight and perspective into him than we gather now from interviews and articles. The only people that truly know him are his close friends and family, that is it and that is all.
