yes. we are doomed in cayman. what i don't understand is why the people (caymanian)aren't saying enough is enough and launch a protest. just to clarify this i am a caymanian. while this might not have anything to do with this particular issue i just wanted people to realise that a;; caymanians aren't sheep.

here is what i propose: on feb 14, the good heart day -- we all wear white and meeting on the steps of the court house. this will show solidarity against UDP. We need to send a loud and clear message we are not happy with all that is going on behind the scences with UDP. This proprosed dock in east end will be like a elephant around our necks. it will more than likely cost between $20 - $40 mil. that is million. the governorment dismissed the George Town proposal to upgrade the dock saying it was too expensive at $12.5. the question we need to ask ourselves is who is gaining here. apprently the land has been purchased for this dock. don't cry down the press either. since there is not freedom of information act it is next to impossible to do any investiaging reporting. also since people don't want to go on the record they have little choice with the English Lible laws being what they are.
