Sharing info and disagreeing are all well and fine, but you DO NOT intentionally try to insult someone. If you have something to say to Joe, you should do so personally and not behind the screen name of a fictional character. Have a bit of dignity, man. Joe: Calm down. I imagine you are super pissed about this situation. It seems like it from your posts. But you can't let stuff like this get to you. I understand that he questioned your belt rank and you took that as a personal insult. You have every right to be insulted. However, you just gave the guy EXACTLY what he wanted. He tested you and he won. Some people exist solely to do this. Be secure with who you are and do not falter under this type of pressure. Being one of the few BJJ Black belts in the area, you are now under a lot of people's scrutiny. Different groups always have a bit of rivalry. Of course you already know this. Just take it easy, bro. TO ALL: I have a philosophy that I call the two R's. I teach it to my children daily. RESPONSIBILITY & RESPECT. Let's try to use a bit more of that here, okay? There are many great people who post on this forum. There are even more people who read but do not post. We have children who view the forum as well as adults. What kind of example are we setting for our younger generation through this type of nonsense? This is a public forum provided free of charge for the discussion of MMA in NC. We have state officials that check up on our sport every now and then through this message board. What kind of message are we sending them about our sport and about the people who participate in it? Let's cut the crap and BE REAL. No sense in setting a bad example for anyone. This forum has been OPEN for some time now. If need be, I will close it again to select individuals like I did before. I will BAN the people who make fake posts under fake names. Believe me. This is a small sandbox and we all have to play nice. BEHAVE!
