Casca-Grossa Grappling Chmapionships Gi and No Gi Divisions
Plus pro divisions.
We have made major improvements to run a smoother tournament than we did last year.
This Year we will have KIPP KOLLAR and the NAGA staff come and help us organize and run it so you know that it will be run fairly and on time.
Custom Medals for 1st,2nd and 3rd and a WAND/CHUTE BOXE t-shirt for all 1st place winners ( only one per individual no matter how many other division you win ). All Children will receive participation medals.
$ 1500.00 up for grabs in 3 weight classes, $ 500.00 each winner takes all. This division is open for everyone that wants a shot at the money.
Last year there was 200+ competitors from 45 teams coming from GA, FL, NC, AL, SC, PA, TN, LA, TX, MD, MS, RI, and NJ. We count on you and your teammates to help us make this edition bigger and better.
The last tournament was the first submission grappling event in Georgia with 80% of BJJ black belts refereeing, we are working hard to have 100% BJJ black belts this year.
It also had famous names competing such as Forrest Griffin (TUF winner and UFC veteran), Rory Singer (Pride Veteran), Victor Huber (Relson Gracie BB), Bill Aparecido (Gracie Barra) and more.
As we do every year, half of the gate proceeds will be donated to the Rocinha BJJ Project. For more information about this social project visit www.rocinhaproject.com
The tournament will have GI and no GI divided for kids, teens, women and men divisions.
Participants can compete in as many divisions as they want, as long as they don't run at the same time.
This year we will have Forrest Griffin and Kyle Maynard coming. Support this year has been great and expect another great event from Georgia's largest non-touring grappling and submission tournament.
