It is prabably not the MMA your looking for, but it is also probably unlike any karate you've seen before. None is far from ECU campus (nore is Charles June), though they are not really in easy walking distance or on a bus route. We're small in numbers, but we've got some great guys to roll with. I won my first MMA fight, and these guys trained me well. I couldn't have done it without them. (I was the first fighter to come out of their gym, and now, we've got three other guys set to compete before the year's end.) We have a great Muay-Thai coach as well, along with Yoga on Saturdays. Again, we're not gonna impress you with hundreds of members, but the guys we have are serious about their BJJ and about competing in MMA/grappling tournaments. Just last week, one teammate won both his no-gi and gi division in a grappling tournament. You should try us out. There is someone there to roll with seven days a week, and everybody there is always willing to help you out. Good luck with your search... [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
