the gloves in VA are larger?? they seemed to be the same size as in NC. but i could be wrong.

My son didnt have any problems choking two of his opponents. Gloves seem to be that same size.

The gloves for NC and Va, are the ammy sized (6 oz) and my point is, in Va, when you can elbow to the head, why, on earth use the ammy sized glove.

It is without question, harder to choke someone with 6 oz gloves vs 4 oz gloves. Whether your son can do it or not doesnt change the fact the bigger gloves makes it more difficult for everyone wearing them. Just sort of pointless to have bigger gloves (ammy sized) when guys are elbowing to the head.
