Well I can stomp my foot just as hard as the next guy, and squeeze ketchup packs on someone nose, really good too. And my great aunt Renee’ knows the Fabulous Moolah personally. So there. She lives on Moolah Drive in Columbia South Carolina.
And I can get her to show up a Kick You Around on the mat Steve, as long as you know it’s not real. You need to fall right, dude, or you will hurt yourself. Or her. Now she may need a walker to get there now she is now close to eighty if not over. or you will need the walker when she is finished with you.
You want to know why MMA is not growing the way it should, Corrupt Boxing, and Laughable Pro-wrestling. No body takes us seriously, when they see what we do they say, “Oh this is wrestling.” I was a big fan too dudes. My favorite was Billy Jack while he was on. Our family watched every sat nite. and at Christmas we would have a great time beating each other up, the fake way the way they do on TV, and singing “Violent Night” but it comes to a time when you have had the “Real Deal” you should stop playing with yourself. or at least stop talking about it with your freinds.
It just tarnishes out sport when we talk in one breath about how real our sport is then we say, I have a Tomahawk chop for you when we get to the mat.
Or when someone finds out what we do, they make a comment to my son like “oh you are good at this grappling sport, well are you good at a pile driver or a sleeper hold?” My son replies “we don’t pile drivers, and we call them a rear naked choke, let me show you how it is done correctly” and I say “grandma get the smelling salts”
Or they asks my son “what is you favorite hold” my son say’s “triangle choke, or this or that” and then they say “has Hulk Hogan ever do one of those”
Now he just says Jiu-jitsu, or Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, or Judo. “If you don’t know do ask”
How would you feel if you worked hard, trained hard, and competed hard to be the number one ranked under 14 year old, in the region to have someone mention a “non-sport” that washes your sport?
let just say you are the number one Amateur golfer in the region and when someone asks you about your sport, and you tell them, they ask “can you get by those windmill blades every time? And don’t you hate it when the carpet has a cut that throws your ball off, and the clown’s nose, that is hard. And do you get your ball back at the last hole? And where does it go? I can never find it.
And how would you fell as an adult if the Pros in the Putt-Putt Golf were making a lot more than the Real Golf players.
It’s not the ones that know the difference it is the ones that is not interested in learning the difference.
Last Sunday my grand-father asked Jay, my son, “Well did you whoop-em” and then my aunt started in about her friend “you know you can make a lot of money in that pro-wresting, like her friend” “Aunt Renee’ this is different” I would say, “oh I know, but you can make a lot of money, training she trained women, that would come by(and she went on and on and on)” my grandfather had to just talk to my son over her conversation. While my grandmother left the room to keep from laughing in her face.
And that is all I have to say about that.
