I hear what you are saying about a personal attack, and that was not where I wanted this to go, but since this tournament was so bad, and from talking to others this is normal from Hurst. I am not usually far off in judging a mans character by his presentation. I can always be corrected. My main point is if you are going to step up and run a tournament, large or small no matter who it is get your act together so the competitiors are rewarded for their hard work.

I've never been to a Bud Cup and don't know Joe but let me tell you, it's a hell of a lot harder than what it looks to run a tournament. Not saying there isn't room for improvement with this event but it's tough. I helped Guy and Rob a little at their last tournament so I got to see the behind the scenes and it was way more work than what I thought... and I wasn't doing most of the work.

Brackets are easy to set up but then people write heavy weigh when they are really light heavyweight, get hurt, leave without telling anyone, and other miscellaneous crap that makes you have to write and rewrite teh brackets several times. Then volunteers don't show up or drift off during the day. Can't say much about reffing though because I haven't done that.

I know several of you on here have put on tournaments and know how it is but for those of you who haven't, it is tough.
