Not saying there isn't room for improvement with this event but it's tough. I helped Guy and Rob a little at their last tournament so I got to see the behind the scenes and it was way more work than what I thought... and I wasn't doing most of the work. Brackets are easy to set up but then people write heavy weigh when they are really light heavyweight, get hurt, leave without telling anyone, and other miscellaneous crap that makes you have to write and rewrite teh brackets several times. Then volunteers don't show up or drift off during the day. Can't say much about reffing though because I haven't done that. Things like this contradict when you say you dont know him, but say bad things about him and then say its not personal. You mention stepping up, try it yourself. Just say outright what you think without qualifying it as "nothing personal". You sound like a crone gossipping a a hair dresser's.
