"I am not usually far off in judging a mans character by his presentation."

Things like this contradict when you say you dont know him, but say bad things about him and then say its not personal. You mention stepping up, try it yourself. Just say outright what you think without qualifying it as "nothing personal". You sound like a crone gossipping a a hair dresser's. You could also actually post with your name instead of a nick, like the vast majority of this forum since you all for stepping up.

OK Tracey, now we are bringing out what I was after. I know tournaments are very hard. Guy and Robs tournament is getting better and better, you can see the hard work and attempt to create a great tournament it comes through and those of you who do know them probably agree. Brandon, I guess I should have used the words of a" general attack". Sure I am generally attacking but its at the attempt of someone taking these and using them constructively. I am wanting the people in this local forum to discuss the good and bad of the tournaments to make them better, there is a great deal of local talent and brains. One way to bring that out is pick an individual out(who just had a tournament) and make him accountable. I was using the phrase of not personally attacking in hope of not getting stuck in a Joe Hurst discussion, maybe I used a statement that could have been better, but what fun would that be. My point is what are some important issues in tournaments to make them better. I do not hide behind a nickname, my name is Drew some already knew. I feel that Bjj is in a growth spurt, and those of us who support it, and give no BS feedback, that the individuals putting on the tournaments will gain valuble info.
