The good thing about Raleigh, like I said, even a semi skilled carpenter can make money to support himself pretty well. The training options are not what they would be in Bettendorf, but keeping food on the table until fighting pays the way is certainly easier in the Triangle than up that way (unless you can get a cushy Casino job).

Brandon Garner is also training at Crossfit in Raleigh. He has a good sponsor and gets decent loot to fight in Iowa every so often, so there are going to be oppurtunities around this area. They will be 10 times better if the State decides to legalize MMA this session.

If they decide to legalize it, there is a petition on the internet I cant remember the site, me and my wife signed it at the time it only had about 1800 signatures. But as popular as it has become I dont think they can keep out for to much longer. My sister-in law goes to Cambell University she said that your gym was only about 5 min away from there, is this true.
