I again say I dont know what to make of all this mess. A year ago I asked one of Luis's guys if they had a 200lb guy who wanted to fight so that we could clear the bad air (bad air that came from an online discussion that went sour). In Tognos defense, the guy could have just been a mouthy student. But after I mentioned a MMA match the guy had nothing else to say. I am glad you are impressed with the guy, but I have seen a purple belt totally spank a senior blue just as you describe you were spanked.
The thing everyone wants clear is the Hodas issue. I personally dont care if he is a green,yellos, red sash, or black belt. I am curious as to why he does not jsut answer the thing with his teacher from Puerto Rico. In any event, even if Luis was not a black belt in '98 when the s**t hit the fan with some of the guys in Raleigh, he could be that level now. So what people want to know is was he lying then. The guy gets strong reactions from all sides, If he just answered the questions put to him one way or the other I think alot of this mess would go away.
I dont think it is something that will ever go away. But if everyone is happy where they are what difference do a few online barbs make?
