I was recently a guest speaker at a function hosted by a branch of the chamber of commerce. Another speaker was a representative of CARDNET Lloyds bank merchant provider, he gave me the impression that if you had paid by credit card not credit card cheque then not only could you claim back your deposit but also the full value of the goods that you have ordered. He even cited a case of a three piece suite retailer from Liverpool that went bust and they had to pay out £6,000,000 evn though the retailer was only collecting £100 deposits. I know that this does not help your case but it does highlight the issue for other readers. This site does appear to have gone very quiet. It would appear that Eurocar Consultants have done a similar trick and the same bad publicity will abound,. This is quite sickening for obvious reasons.
