Subject: Probably some of you have done this already....

....but have you asked your employers if you are covered for legal aid. Larger companies often provide this in their employmee benefits. I thought that only issues relating to company business was covered, but it covers me in this case apparently and they are willing to act on my behalf.

Worth checking out...personnel officer would know.

  - Everyones case is different...my battle lies with the dealer...both claim legal title. He claims he has not been paid but has lost his car...I claim I have not had my car and have lost my money...both in the same boat by the opposite way around...so far I know of one other person in the same situation as me.   - Your position will be better if they were acting as your agent. You may find you have a claim on a car on the continent which, if you are lucky, may be partially paid for, and you may be able to argue against having the money you paid included in the companies assets, this could give you priority in the list of creditors.
