Sam nodded, wandering out to get the clothes before she came back in and happily took her bath, getting all cleaned up before she got dressed and then went to find her mommy so they could all get a story and get to bed. It had become a tradition for either Skye or Niko to read both kids a story and then put them for bed. Skye let Niko read that night before they put both kids to bed, giving them each a kiss and tucking them in. (He was glad he had Skye there to inform him that it was normal behavior for the kid to scream bloody murder for five minutes each night, or he would have created an insomniac by letting him stay up every night. He was humming when he came down the stairs, having emptied the tub, cleaned the bathroom and gone into Sam's room to drag out a whining pup who had gotten trapped in there. He enjoyed their nightly rituals, and looked forward to his time alone with Skye each evening.
