(He smiled, nodding a little bit.) Yes, I will admit it is sooner than I had wanted.. but we can't really alter fate or time, can we? (He was comforted with the fact that he seemed to find his inner strength when she was upset.. the words seemed to come to him better when she needed him. Distracted from his own worries he could focus on finding the hope in the situation.) So we'll have to alter some things around here, talk about our job expectations.. it's not the end of the world, or the end of us.
