(He had found that after Aiden's birth and the loss of Fyre that when Skye returned to him that he appreciated the small romantic gestures and the simple things, like knowing that she was comfortable and happy in their home, filled him with a comforting sense of satisfaction that he had only been able to find by pursuing dangerous situations as a young man.) I love what you've done with the place.. (He might have loved his bachelor apartment before, but he appreciated the feminine touch she brought to the home, and for some odd reason when she mentioned him picking the place out, he had a sense that perhaps he had bought the place with her in mind all along.) It seemed like it needed a family. (He said simply as he followed her to the bed and leaned down, setting a hand at at her hip as he lowered his lips to meet hers again, enjoying the way the room smelled of spring, soap and the mixture of their scents.. it was soothing to him and put him at ease.)
