• (He watched the younger girl move about the room, finding it a shame that so much had been done to her in the agency.. she had been a wonderful agent and probably still would be had she not been tortured so. Niko had come to him and talked to him about what had happened to her and he knew about the baby they had lost early on and it still bothered him that they had gone through that together and not made it the first time around.)   • (He always reveled under the affections of the girls that his sons were dating.. it was nice to have so many sweet girls around - it did a Rico good. Smiling, he patted her arm as she kissed his cheek and watched her pick up the baby, who he waggled his brows at to get a sleepy smile in return.) It will do Shaun good to have another grandkid, they keep him young. (He smirked, never missing a chance to call his friend and ex-partner old.. cause he was. He looked at his watch and nodded.) • She nodded at that and finally disappeared to give the baby a bath. Aiden tended to get quite messy when he was eating but it didn't take long to clean him up. Soon enough he was in his pajama's with a fresh diaper and ready to go downstairs to spend some time with Daddy before the baby wore himself out and fell asleep, leaving Niko to carry him up to the crib and them both to tuck him in. It was pretty routine, actually, it was comfortable and she was suprised at how much she liked the predictability of it. Stepping into the living room, she found her boyfriend on the couch and she had to smile - he definately was the king of his domain, he was such a good man and she was extremely lucky and totally undeserving of being with him. • (Rico had left only moments before and he had moved into the living room with a fresh beer, content to sit on the sofa and listen to the soft sounds of Skye talking to Aiden in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom while she tended him.. she was a wonderful mother, no matter how much she tried to deny it. When she came in, he had been lost in thought about their child and wondering how he would deal if something happened to her or the baby during the pregnancy. He looked up at her voice and smiled, reaching out to take Aiden as she brought him over and sitting him on his knee. He couldn't help the way he lit up whenever aiden was around, and he set the beer in his hand aside to stand the little boy on his knees, letting him squirm and jump playfully.) She smiled as she sat down on the couch, looking down at the baby before she shifted a little, resting her head back on the back of the couch as her hand came over to run her fingers over her boyfriends leg gently, squeezing softly before finally placing her hand on her stomach and gently rubbed in quiet circles. "He's going to start walking any day now, look at him..." She smiled lightly before she shifted to slouch a bit lower in the couch and tipped her head to gaze at him and the baby a bit better. • (He smirked proudly as Aiden happily bounced on his knees, the kid was a handful at times and made him so proud to be a father every time he looked into those smiling blue eyes. He looked over at Skye she settled beside him, smiling at her.) He's pushing really hard when he stands up.. he just has to work on balance, eh kiddo? (He said half to Skye and half to Aiden, smirking when the boy promptly sat down on his knees and started to wiggle like he was chair dancing.. it always amused Niko how babies could entertain themselves by wiggling around.) • She let out a soft breath, smiling a little before she tipped her head. "I think I am going to head to bed early tonight, little bit after Aiden goes to bed." She shifted farther into the couch, resting her head back against the back of the couch. "Any day spent with Jag is a little draining and I don't want to be tired the whole time we have Sam." The baby wore her out, took a lot of her energy just to keep the child inside of her safe and cared for so she definitely needed her sleep. Her hand ran through her hair absently as she turned to look at him, her brow furrowed. "Do you have anything going on during the day tomorrow?" She questioned curiously, she wasn't sure if he had told her or not, thank god the doctors had told them that absent mindedness was a normal part of pregnancy.   • Sounds like a plan to me.. (He smiled as he looked over at her, not about to say a word about her going to bed early when sometimes it was hard for him to get her to simply sit down. He wasnt like Jag in that he didn't pester her constantly to sit down, but he did remind her every now and then that she should wear herself out. He liked that she wasn't the type of girl who was constantly complaining about her pregnancy like it was the end of the world.. when Skye had things she could be deathly worried about she grit her teeth and kept going.. and that made him want to protect her. He shifted his arm around her as Aiden's bouncing slowed and the boy just sat there, sitting in the crook of Niko's arm, staring up at his daddy.)     • She let out a soft breath and nodded, watching him for a moment before she headed up the stairs to the babies room which was across the hall and a little bit farther down then theirs. Quickly, she held Aiden in one arm and quietly went about turning on his mobile, the night light, the baby monitor that sort of thing before she changed his diaper once more, a small smile on her face as he stirred a little but then fell back asleep immediatly. Quietly, she put him into the crib and tucked him in lightly, her voice soft as she hummed along with the song the mobile was playing.   • (He paused at the door to their room to set down his glass of water before crossing into the nursery and walking up behind Skye to say goodnight to Aiden. As usual the boy had a way of sort of half waking when they said goodnight to him that brought a smile to his face. He was such a good baby, slept through the night and was rarely fussy unless he was sick.. He was quiet as he put an arm around Skye and spent a couple moments watching Aiden drift back off to sleep, curling up in his blanket and popping his thumb into his mouth after a couple seconds. He smirked proudly as he smoothed a stray strand of hair back and it immediately stuck up again. Finally, he looked over at Skye and reached for her hand to walk down the hall to the bedroom, it was their nightly ritual and he would never change a thing. • She smiled warmly, sweetly at her boyfriend before she headed over to the drawer to grab a nightie and then stripped down, tugging on the satin material over her skin and sighing at the feel of it against her flesh. With a smile, she headed into the bathroom to wash her face and pull her hair back, brushing her teeth and taking her vitamins before finally - and happily - climbing into bed beneath the covers. It was only a little after nine, they were really getting old but the baby made her tired, she had an early morning coming up and a long day ahead. Jag's emotional appeals always made her exhausted. • (Since he was already in his pajamas, he simply went through the motions of closing the blinds, turning down the covers and putting the decorative pillows on the floor at the foot of the bed before swapping places with her in the bathroom. When he came back out, he shut off the lights and crossed over to climb into bed beside her. The spring air made the room feel a little sticky and that prompted him to simply shuck his sweats, leaving him naked beneath the sheets. Unappologetically, he reached for her and tugged her over to spoon with her, his chest agaisnt her back and his hand firmly splayed over her belly. • She smiled warmly, scooting in close to him and closing her eyes, already feeling sleep creeping in and making her eyes heavy and her thoughts blurry. "Night, Niko." She murmured softly and within moments she was fast asleep. It was rare she went to sleep without them making love once, a sure sign she really was beat that day. The morning came all to soon and Aiden was calling out for Dada over the monitor, making her stir against her boyfriend, a yawn escaped her lips as she stretched against him, trying to wake up slowly so she wouldn't be dragging all day long. • (He stirred slowly, though when he heard Aiden's soft voice on the monitor he was awake just that quick, same as he had been able to do in the force. It was just an instinctual thing, knowing that Aiden was up and wanted him had his adreneline picking up and rousing him immediately. He felt her stir again and kissed her shoulder before getting up and slipping his sweats on to pad into the nursery. He murmured to the boy as he picked him up and went about changing his diaper and going downstairs to get a bottle of juice for him to have. When he returned to the room, he crawled back into bed and lounged beside her with Aiden curled into his arm and happily nursing his bottle.. mornings in their house were often spent this way.) • Aiden immediatly wanted to curl into her chest so she turned over to face them, letting the little boy cuddle against her as she yawned again and leaned down to catch a whiff of his baby soft skin. A content sigh escaped her lips as she finally opened her eyes to gaze at Niko, smiling a touch. "...Morning..." She murmured softly, sleepily, she always took a lot longer to wake up and get going then Niko did. Even years in the agency didn't give her the ability to just wake up. "Sleep good?" She knew she had, it had been a sound, deep sleep and one she fully appreciated. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked over at the clock, knowing she would have to really get up and start the day soon so she could get herself off to the farm house. (He murmured back, letting his thumb move in slow lazy circles against her skin, it was so soft right there at her hip. Aiden was gazing at her as he drank from his bottle, as though he could read her mind.. and it always endeared her to him that she loved his son as her own.) Yeah.. I did. She stated with a sweet smile before she leaned over to brush her lips against his gently, a smile playing on her lips as she pulled back and rested her head against the pillow. "I think I'll just pick up some fast food for dinner, is that alright?" She questioned. "When I bring home Sam I can just swing through, she always likes some McDonalds or something as a treat." She smiled sweetly, leaning down to brush her hand over Aidens head as the baby grabbed at her chest, making her laugh and roll her eyes. "Just like your daddy..." • (He smiled as she leaned in to kiss him, lifting his hand from Aiden's stomach to run the backs of his fingers over her cheek. He was always more affectionate first thing in the morning.) She shifted a little to stretch out her arms before she groaned and finally stood up - content to move around the house in just the black satin nightie. "I am going to get him in his highchair and start your breakfast if you wanna use the shower before me..." She stated, picking up the baby in her arms and bouncing him lightly. "I know sweetie, you're hungry...Skye'll get you some breakfast..." She smiled sweetly, tipping her head to the side as she tried to figure out what to make Niko for breakfast. • (He smiled as he watched her, shifting to lay fully on his back as she picked up the baby and folding his hands behind his head with a self-satisfied expression. He felt like a king sometimes.. everything in his life was just falling into place so perfectly. He had the woman of his dreams, the most amazing son and a new baby on the way.. not to mention the love of a sweet little girl who should have been his but at least considered him a friend.) • She nodded a little at that, smiling a touch before he asked his question and she had to shrug her shoulders a little sheepishly. "Just a couple of times a few mornings...no big deal.." She smirked a little, she'd had it a lot worse when she was carrying Sam but she hadn't been nearly as tired and weak when she was carrying Sam so she figured it was a trade off. "You just stay up here and rest, sweetie, I am going to go make food." With that, she headed downstairs, talking to Aiden quietly as she got him settled into the highchair with some pieces of banana and grapes and then some oatmeal for him to eat with his hands. Next, she went about using the rest of the banana's to make some pancakes that he liked, content to cook with the soft music playing in the background and Aiden's jibber jabber to keep her company. • (He laid there and enjoyed himself by listening to her as she moved about the kitchen, the sounds of the radio, the kitchen and the baby comforted him. When he picked up the scent of banana in the air and realized she was making pancakes, his stomach rumbled and made him get up. He went into the bathroom and splashed some water on his face, quickly brushed his teeth and then padded down into the living room to let the dogs out into the fenced backyard to run for a bit.
