(It had been obvious from the first time he had met Sam that the two of them had a close relationship.. simply because he saw fit to spoil her whenever he was around and then to remind all his children that he was lacking grandchildren later on when she wasn't around. Sam reminded him of Skye when she had been little, and Rico had always saw fit to spoil Skye as a child as well - she had always been in his home anyways, hanging around his son, something of another daughter to him.) Did she now.. well, you'll just have to let me know next time you have her around.. or bring her by, I am sure that Jewel would like to see her too. (He said softly as he polished off his meal.) (He fell silent as Rico started to talk and by the time his father was finished he too had finished his meal and looked over to notice that Skye wasnt eating. He had known the moment his father mentioned Jewel that she would stop eating, though seeing it bothered him more than knowing it. Sighing, he automatically picked up the sippycup that Aiden was about to launch off the tray onto the floor to initiate the fetch game he thought was hilarious.)
